Weldeon is an ambient electronic producer based in the United States producing powerful evocative dreamscapes through sound.
After years of several minor collaborations (i.e. me producing a visual for his song, him producing a song for my video),
we decided to finally come together to create a largescale project in the physical world, rather than the digital one.
With Weldeon’s trust, I was given full creative freedom in both visuals and lighting. And with help from local friend Aiden Cuthbertson providing lights and lighting design assistance, we began work on the project. For two weeks as Weldeon produced and rehearsed a live fifty-minute mix of his original songs, I worked on visuals and alongside Aiden on lighting. At the end of the two weeks we spent developing the show, we were left with just enough time to record it in its entirety.
